Sky & Ocean Brown at Graystone ActionSports Centre

I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to photograph young Sky Brown and her brother Ocean at Graystone Action Sports Centre in Manchester recently. At just 10 years old, Sky is on course to become the UK's youngest ever olympian next year, as she has landed a place on Team GB!

Already an adept surfer, and having won Dancing With The Stars in America last year Sky has made it clear she's able to turn her hand to just about anything and make it look easy. Coupled with an infectious personality, it's easy to see why she's the face of Nike's 'Powerful Women' campaign alongside members of the US Womens National Football team amongst many others.

Sky threw a few tricks down for me with great ease before spending the week hanging out with local youths and signing what seemed like millions of posters, all the while surprising us all with her professionalism and her enthusiasm in front of the camera and while it was pointing elsewhere too.
